Cake of the Day!

For all those unaware,the 137th Kentucky Derby will be occurring this weekend. As you have seen in my last blog about my Going Away Party Kentucky Derby themed, it's all about horses, BIG HATS, horses, big hats, and HORSES AND BIG HATS!

Today's Cake of the Day was Kentucky Derby themed and comes from Wildflowers. A Day at the Races was the theme for this special 50th birthday celebration and the party included all sorts of Kentucky Derby elements. The horse paddock was created out of sugar and decorated with a sugar rose vine. A sugar replica of the derby trophy, a jockey's cap, and a saddle complete this cake vignette.
